This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model nomenclature, requirements, test conditions, test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of air purifiers. Note 1: The air purifiers involved in this document include independent air purification appliances and various air purification modules. This document applies to household and similar air purifiers (hereinafter referred to as "filter"). This document is applicable to but not limited to purifiers with the following working principles: filter type, adsorption type, complex type, chemical catalytic type, photocatalytic type, electrostatic type, plasma type, composite type, etc. Note 2: Composite purifiers refer to purifiers that use two or more purification principles to remove one or more air pollutants. The following products can be implemented with reference to this document: --- Small, portable purifiers, passenger car purifiers; --- Air duct type purification devices and other similar purifiers; --- Other products with air purification functions. Note 3: For example, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, fresh air fans, fans, humidifiers, heaters and vacuum cleaners, etc. This document does not apply to: --- purifiers specially designed for industrial use; --- purifiers used in special environments for corrosive and explosive gases (such as dust, steam and gas); --- specially designed for Purifiers designed for medical use.
