- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, safety signs, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitments of off-board conductive chargers for electric vehicles. This standard applies to off-board chargers (hereinafter referred to as chargers) for electric vehicles that use a conductive charging method with a maximum rated voltage of the power supply of 1500 V DC and a maximum rated output voltage of 1500 V DC.
