- This standard specifies the safety requirements for on-board charging devices equipped for pure electric passenger vehicles with an input power not exceeding 3.5kW, a power supply AC input voltage of 220V, and meeting the safety requirements of Class II power supplies, including technical requirements and test methods for the safe operation of the device. , inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, etc. This standard applies to on-board charging devices for pure electric passenger vehicles. Other types of electric vehicle charging devices can also be used with reference. This standard does not apply to hybrid electric vehicle on-board charging devices and electric vehicle on-board charging devices working in workplaces with flammable and explosive gases.
