Scope
This standard specifies the graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometric method for the determination of lead in ambient air. This standard applies to the determination of lead in ambient air. When the ambient air is collected at 10 m (standard state) and the sample volume is adjusted to 50 ml, the detection limit of the method is 0.009 μg/m and the lower limit of determination is 0.036 μg/m.
