PURPOSE and SCOPE This publication presents recommended practices for the measuring@ sampling and testing of natural gas fluids. These practices are intended to cover only the production@ transportation and custody transfer of natural gas and of products recovered therefrom@ excIuding liquified natural gas (LNG). Included in this publication is a complete Reference (14.1.5) to specific Standards@ Bulletins@ Data Books@ Recommended Practices and Publications dealing with specific areas of measuring@ sampling and testing of natural gas fluids. The abbreviations@ names and addresses for the various organizations cited in the text are given in annex A.
