- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of feed additive silica. This standard applies to the feed additive silica produced by the precipitation method (produced by calcining quartz sand and sodium carbonate at high temperature to form a sodium silicate solution and reacting with acid).
