This document describes the principle of liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry for the determination of artemisinin content in Artemisia annua, and specifies the requirements for reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, analysis steps, calculation and presentation of results, precision, etc. This document is applicable to the determination of artemisinin content in Artemisia annua, with a detection limit of 0.25 μg/g and a lower limit of determination of 0.75 μg/g. The principle is as follows: using acetonitrile to ultrasonically extract artemisinin in the sample, using matrix-dispersed solid-phase extraction agent to purify it, liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry to measure it, and external standard method to quantify it.
