- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, basic requirements, product requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, after-sales service, etc. of household ice machines. This standard is applicable to household and similar ice-making machines with a motor-driven compression refrigeration system that automatically uses water to make ice of a certain shape. The single-phase rated voltage does not exceed 250 V and has a 24-hour ice production capacity under standard operating conditions. Not more than 30 kg. This standard does not apply to commercial and industrial ice machines.
