This document specifies the principles, instruments, sample preparation, test procedures, results and calculations, and test reports for testing the tensile elastic modulus of a single fiber using the high-precision balance weighing load method to gradually increase the compressive load. This document is applicable to the testing of elastic modulus and tensile strength of single fibers, including fibrous materials such as metal or ceramic fibers.
