- This standard specifies a gas chromatographic method for the determination of extractable petroleum hydrocarbons (C10~C40) in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of extractable petroleum hydrocarbons (C10~C40) in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage, industrial wastewater and seawater.
