Scope

This standard specifies the principles, specimen requirements, equipment requirements, test procedures and reporting requirements for rotational fatigue testing of full-size drill strings under bending moment conditions. This standard is applicable to the fatigue life determination method of full-size drill strings when subjected to bending moments in a rotating state.
