- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product structure, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation, storage and quality commitments of multi-layer composite blow molded bottles for food packaging. This standard applies to polyethylene (PE), ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), and ethylene-maleic anhydride polymer (PE) as the main raw materials, using multi-layer co-extrusion through screw extrusion and blow molding processes. Formed colorless multi-layer composite blow molded bottles for food packaging with a capacity of 1L or less for cold filling (excluding caps, hereafter referred to as blow molded bottles). This standard does not apply to blow molded bottles that come into contact with food containing ethanol content greater than 6%.
