Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the content of essential oil of Rhizoma Rhizoma. This standard is applicable to the determination of the essential oil content of White Rhizoma Rhizoma obtained from the underground pseudobulbs of White Orchidaceae and Bletillastriata (Thunb.) Reichb.f., extracted from White Rhizome by water vapor method, after (or without) filtration and other steps. .
