Bovine β-casein was hydrolyzed into peptides by trypsin, separated by reversed-phase chromatography, and detected by tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry. The content of bovine A1 and A2β-casein in the sample was calculated using the stable isotope dilution internal standard method based on the specific peptides screened.
