Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of reducer assemblies for electric vehicles. This standard applies to parallel shaft reducer assemblies (hereinafter referred to as reducers) for electric vehicles with an input torque not greater than 300 N·m.
