- Scope
- This document specifies methods for on-site determination of free chlorine in water. This document is suitable for on-site determination of free residual chlorine in drinking water. This document is not suitable for the determination of turbid or highly colored water samples. The detection limit of this method (calculated as Cl2) is 5 μg/L, and the detection range (calculated as Cl2) is 20~2000 μg/L. For water samples whose free chlorine is higher than the upper limit of the method, it is not recommended to measure it after dilution.
