Unfired Pressure Vessel Flange Dimensions

Scope: 1.1 To provide dimensions for unfired pressure vessel flanges based on the ASME Unified Pressure Vessel (UPV) code formulas and specifcations and on proportions established by design practices of many large industrial users. 1.2 To providenough size and pressure choices to include the majority of the vessels used. 1.3 To provide the most economical flanges consistent with satisfactory installation and operation. 1.4 To provide a design which permits the use of a wide variety of gasket materials. 1.5 To establish interchangeability among loosetype (example: ASME UPV code illustration UA-48- la)* and welded-type (example: ASME UPV illustration UA 48-8a) for equivalent vesseldiameters and operating pressures. 1.1 根据ASME统一压力容器（UPV）规范公式和规格以及许多大型工业用户的设计实践确定的比例，为未燃烧的压力容器法兰提供尺寸。 1.2 提供足够的尺寸和压力选择，以包括所使用的大多数容器。 1.3 提供最经济的法兰，符合令人满意的安装和操作。 1.4 提供允许使用各种垫片材料的设计。 1.5 在松散型（例如：ASME UPV代码插图UA-48-la）*和焊接型（例如：ASME UPV插图UA 48-8a）之间建立等效容器直径和工作压力的互换性。
