This standard specifies the requirements, installation and commissioning, acceptance, operation and maintenance, marking, transportation and storage and order (or contract) content of electrocapture equipment for aluminum carbon production. This standard applies to the main part of the electric tar trap equipment (hereinafter referred to as the electric tar trap equipment) used to purify and remove tar from the flue gas generated during the kneading, molding and roasting processes during the production of carbon for aluminum.
