The technical specification for the evaluation of reactor core sub-channel analysis software stipulates the purpose of evaluation, evaluation methods, key issues of concern during the evaluation process, and clarifies the evaluation criteria. This document can provide guidance for reviewers of safety evaluation of reactor core sub-channel analysis software, and can also provide reference for software validation work of computer software development units for nuclear power plant safety analysis. This document is applicable to the core sub-channel analysis software used in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. The core sub-channel analysis software used in other reactor-type nuclear power plants and research reactors can be implemented as a reference. This document will be continuously revised and improved based on the safety evaluation practice of reactor core sub-channel analysis software and the development of domestic software verification and confirmation calculations.
