Scope

This standard specifies the method for expressing and reporting the cleanliness or particle contamination level of aerospace fluid system components. This standard also specifies a code system that allows cleanliness data to be represented in abbreviated or complete form when expressing particulate contamination level measurements or specifying cleanliness requirements.
