- This standard specifies the method for the determination of polymers in β-lactam antibiotics by gel chromatography. This standard is applicable to the development of 10 kinds of β-lactam antibiotics including penicillin V potassium, ceftriaxone, cefatriaxone cephradine, cefuroxime, cefoperazone, cefazolin, ceftezole, oxacillin and procaine hydrochloride and determination of endogenous high molecular weight polymers in production.
