This standard specifies the spectrophotometric method for determination of cholinesterase activity in blood - the hydroxylamine ferric chloride method. The minimum detection concentration of this method is 2.4 μmol/L. This standard is applicable to the determination of choline casease activity in the blood of normal people and persons exposed to organophosphorus pesticides.
