- This standard specifies the high-performance liquid chromatography method for determining the migration of bisphenol A in plastic packaging materials and products that come into contact with food and the positive verification method for the diode array method. This standard is applicable to the determination of bisphenol A content in four food simulants: water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution and olive oil. In this standard, the lower limit of determination of bisphenol A in three water-based food simulants: water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution and 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution is 0.03 mg/L, and the lower limit of bisphenol A in olive oil is 0.03 mg/L. The lower limit of determination is 0.3 mg/kg.
