Scope

This document specifies the items, methods and requirements for type testing and factory testing of flexible DC mechanical high-voltage DC circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as "DC circuit breakers"). This document is applicable to DC circuit breakers installed indoors and operating in flexible DC transmission systems of various voltage levels from 100kV to 500kV. For other voltage levels and DC circuit breakers installed outdoors, please refer to this document.
