This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the corrosion resistance of weather-resistant structural steel, the information that buyers should provide to suppliers, technical requirements, test methods, grade representation methods and test reports. This standard is suitable for evaluating the corrosion resistance of various grades of steel that comply with GB/T4171-2008 when serving in natural environments. It is not suitable for evaluating the corrosion resistance of steel materials when serving in industrial environments.
