This document specifies the requirements for altitude classification, correction methods and external insulation levels of AC power transmission and transformation equipment in high-altitude areas. This document is applicable to the external insulation configuration and equipment selection of 110kV ~ 750kV AC power transmission and transformation equipment in high altitude areas of 5500m and below. This document does not involve the configuration of external insulation under special weather conditions such as ice, snow and heavy rain.
