Scope

This standard specifies the definition, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of silicone emulsions for waterproofing textile fabrics. This standard is applicable to emulsions prepared by emulsification using (fluorine-free) silicone oil as the base material for waterproof finishing of textile fabrics.
