GB/T 40380.2-2021 Metallic powders—Determination of apparent density and flow rate at elevated temperatures—Part 2: Determination of flow rate at elevated temperatures (English Version)
This document specifies two flow rate determination methods for determining the time (flow rate) for a certain amount of heated powder mixture to pass through a funnel with a fixed aperture. This powder is mainly suitable for warm-pressed iron and steel powder. Method A uses a funnel with an aperture of 2.5 mm, and the sample volume is 50 g, mainly based on the method specified in ISO4490. This method is only applicable to powder mixtures that can freely flow through 2.5 mm pores under heated conditions. Method B uses a funnel with a pore size of 5 mm and a sample volume of 150 g. The test temperature range of these two methods is 60 ℃ ~ 180 ℃, and one of them can be selected after negotiation between relevant parties.
