Scope

This Draft for Development describes a method to be used on site or in the laboratory for determining the water-soluble chloride ion content of fresh concrete. The method is not suitable for concretes containing non-chloride based accelerating admixtures. Annex B describes three simplified procedures especially suitable for use on site.
