- This document provides guidance on operating status monitoring methods and diagnostic result feedback by applying online vibration monitoring technology to key components of wind turbines (gearboxes, main shaft bearings, generators, blades, and towers). This document is suitable for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of key components of doubly-fed and semi-direct-driven wind turbines, grid-connected horizontal axis wind turbines with a single rated power of 1.5MW and above.
