Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, statistical scope, calculation methods, and energy-saving management and measures for the energy consumption per unit product of nickel pig iron (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) limits. This standard is applicable to the calculation, assessment and evaluation of energy consumption in the production of nickel-containing pig iron products using nickel oxide ore (nickel laterite ore) as raw material. This standard does not apply to enterprises that use nickel sulfide as raw material to produce nickel-containing pig iron products.
