- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test conditions and procedures for measuring the scale inhibition rate of industrial boiler scale inhibitors based on changes in the wall temperature of the heated surface under operating pressure conditions. This method is suitable for the determination of the scale inhibition rate of scale inhibitors in steam boilers, pressure-bearing hot water boilers and steam-water boilers with rated pressures less than or equal to 2.5MPa.
