What is ISO 21896 about?
ISO 21896 is an international standard on paper, paper pulp and recycling. ISO 21896 defines a method for measuring the decolouration capability of commercial products, produced using paper and board dyed in mass and/or printed with dye inks.
ISO 21896 determines the decolouration index to indicate the efficiency of the decolouration.
Note: ISO 21896 does not apply to paper printed with pigment inks.
