This practical guideline provides instructions for the management of outdoor sewerage. The activities to be carried out for this purpose are elaborated in broad terms and described in their mutual context. This practical guideline applies to the management of municipal outdoor sewerage. The instructions in this practical guideline are primarily intended for the official management responsible for the care of outdoor sewerage. This practical guideline is not intended to regulate decision-making by the board. Many instructions are also useful for the management of non-municipal outdoor sewerage of industrial estates, building complexes and the like. EXPLANATION The practical guideline is written from the point of view of the official management. The management process and the activities that can be distinguished therein are also described from this point of view.
