- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, grading and labeling, technical requirements, detection methods, product description and packaging of PM2.5 protective masks. This standard applies to masks worn by people in daily life to prevent the inhalation of PM2.5 in the air. This standard does not apply to dust masks for protecting against the inhalation of harmful gases and vapors, or for oxygen-deficient environments, escape, firefighting, medical and other occupational uses.
