This standard stipulates the guidelines for preventing accidents when using agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery, as well as the requirements for ensuring the personal safety of operators and personnel participating in normal operations and maintenance. This standard is applicable to the design of agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery. Specific safety technical requirements for various types of machinery may be added or subtracted from this standard, and shall be specified in other parts of the series of standards "Safety Technical Requirements for Agricultural and Forestry Tractors and Machinery" .
