- This document specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) beverage bottles. This document is applicable to beverage bottles produced with polyethylene terephthalate resin as the main raw material by injection molding, stretching and blow molding processes. This document does not address safety requirements related to food contact materials.
