Scope
This standard specifies an ion chromatography method for the determination of water-soluble inorganic cations (Li+, Na+, NH4+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+) in ambient air particles. This standard is applicable to the determination of 6 water-soluble cations (Li, Na+, NH4+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+) in ambient air particles (including TSP, PM10, PM2.5, dust, etc.). +Ambient air particle filter membrane sample, when the sampling volume is 60 m3 (standard state), the extraction liquid volume is 100 ml, and the injection volume is 25 µl, the detection limit of this method is 0.005 μg/m3 ~0.037 μg/m3 , the lower limit of determination is 0.020 μg/m3 ~0.148 μg/m3; for dust deposition samples, when the sampling volume is 0.100 g, the extraction liquid volume is 100 ml, and the injection volume is 25 μl, the detection limit of this method is 0.003 mg/g ~0.022 mg/g, the lower limit of determination is 0.012 mg/g ~0.088 mg/g. Note 1: This method is also applicable to the analysis of samples of particulate matter (such as sand dust aerosols and sandstorm dust) collected under special weather conditions. 2
