Scope

This standard specifies the normative reference documents, terms and definitions, instruments and consumables, detection methods, and determination of test results for technical procedures for detection of tomato spotted wiltvirus (TSWV) in vegetables. This standard is applicable to the detection and identification of tomato spotted wilt virus in vegetable crops such as Solanaceae, Cruciferae, Leguminosae and Cucurbitaceae.
