- This standard specifies a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of 18 polychlorinated biphenyls in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of 18 types of PCBs in surface water, groundwater, industrial wastewater and domestic sewage. When the sampling volume is 1L, the detection limit of this method is 1.4~2.2 ng/L, and the lower limit of determination is 5.6~8.8 ng/L. See Appendix A for details. 2
