Scope

This standard specifies the content and technical requirements for handover and start-up tests of large-scale synchronous condensers for DC transmission projects. This standard applies to synchronous condensers of 100Mvar and above that are started by a static frequency conversion device. Other types of synchronous condensers may be implemented with reference to this standard.
