Scope

This standard specifies the detection methods and inspection items, limit values and result determination, measurement results and data recording requirements for diesel vehicles in use during loading and deceleration smoke emissions. This standard applies to in-use vehicles equipped with diesel engines, with a maximum total mass greater than 400kg, and a maximum design speed greater than or equal to 50km/h.
