- This standard specifies the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) determination method for the content of ammonium chloride antibacterial agents lauramonium chloride, benzethonium chloride, cetylpyridinium chloride, methalonium chloride and cetalonium chloride in toothpaste. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of five ammonium chloride antibacterial agents in toothpaste. The detection limit of this standard method is 0.075g/kg (loralonium chloride, benzethonium chloride), 0.0125g/kg (cetylpyridinium chloride, metalonium chloride) and 0.025g/kg (cetalonium chloride) .
