Scope

This part of ISO 105 describes Test No. 4 in a series of five washing test methods for colored textiles, which have been established to cover the range of washing exposure from light to heavy. NOTE: This test method is only intended to determine the washing fastness of the textile. It is not intended to consider the comprehensive effect of the entire washing process.
