- This standard specifies the requirements for raw materials, product quality, application range, usage, inspection methods, marking and packaging, transportation and storage, labels and instructions, and precautions for phenolic disinfectants. This standard is applicable to phenolic compounds such as teaphenol, cresol, p-chloroxylenol, and triclosanol as main raw materials, and appropriate surfactants, ethanol or isore-alcohol as solubilizers. Ethanol or isopropyl plantain (or) water is used as a solvent, and other disinfectants with killing ingredients are not added. This standard does not apply to other single or compound phenolic disinfectants.
