- Scope
- This standard specifies the types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of electric single-girder cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes) for lifting molten metal. This standard applies to bridge cranes that use electric hoists for lifting molten metal as the lifting mechanism and are used to lift molten metal. Other similar cranes can refer to the implementation. This standard does not apply to cranes working in environments with explosive gases, combustible dust and corrosive gases.
