This standard specifies the technical requirements for welding and riveting parts of food machinery. This standard applies to steel components manufactured by manual arc welding, gas welding, sub-arc welding, gas shielded welding, resistance welding and riveting methods in food machinery. This standard does not apply to pressure vessels specified by the national labor department.
