- This document specifies a method for the determination of flavanols in wine by high performance liquid chromatography. This document applies to flavanols in wine: epigallocatechin, catechin, epigallocatechin gallate, epicatechin, epicatechin gallate, myricetin, isorhamnet Determination of nutrient content. The detection limits of the method in this document: the detection limits of epigallocatechin and catechin are both 0.0720 mg/L, the detection limits of epicatechin are both 0.0582 mg/L, and the detection limits of epigallocatechin and gallic acid are both 0.0720 mg/L. The detection limits of ester, myricetin, and isorhamnetin are all 0.0348 mg/L, and the detection limit of epicatechin gallate is 0.0214 mg/L.
