Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, and data processing for fine-grained soil particle analysis tests. This document is applicable to the wet method of using a laser particle size analyzer to measure the particle size of fine-grained soil with a particle size ≤0.075mm, including powder (0.005＜d≤0.075mm) and clay (d≤0.005mm).
