This standard specifies the method for determination of polyphenol content in vegetable oils. This standard is applicable to the determination of vanillic acid, caffeic acid, epicatechin, sinapinic acid, ferulic acid, and cinnamic acid in vegetable oils. The detection limits of vanillic acid, caffeic acid, epicatechin, sinapinic acid, ferulic acid, and cinnamic acid in this standard method are all 0.4 μg/kg.
